Kiara Shardé Holley is culturally curious and always interested in the long story. You'll most likely find her at a dinner party or book club spearheading conversations around the humanities. Living in Brooklyn and working professionally as an Art Director, Shardé's  point-of-view is grounded in her hands-on design and editing skillset combined with an interdisciplinary academic background in cultural thought, integrated media arts, and documentary production.

She is interested in activating rich, nuanced narratives through visual design and multimedia. As a nod to Sankofa, an Akan principal which loosely translates into “go back and get", Kiara’s visual practice heavily incorporates archival materials while reflecting on history and global visual cultures.
